If you want to lose weight, you must be honest about it. Even if exercising is not your preferred method, you can still lose considerable weight. Although they are essential for the body for providing energy, an excess of it is not absorbed by the body leading to accumulation of fats and unwanted weight gains.
One of the simplest ways of reducing calorie intake is to bring some healthy change in one’s diet. In spite of having meals with high carbohydrate content, it is advisable that you add more healthy ingredients like enough proteins, vitamins and minerals to your diet. If you are having 4 slices of bread with omelet and fruit juice, reduce 4 slices to 2 and replace the juice with a raw whole fruit like banana or apple. Whole fruits are a healthy option since they have high contents of mineral, vitamin and fiber. Some fruits like banana are quite filling too. Juices are less healthy than fruits since they have high caloric value and negligible fiber content.
Another way of reducing calories is having 5-6 small meals a day rather than 2-3 big ones followed by junk food.
Small servings of food after every 2-3 hours will not only replete your body but also reduce your impulse to intake snacks. While the body is digesting the meals, it will send the brain a satisfying signal and hence restrain any urge for snacking. You can splurge on food once a week but the remaining days must be directed towards healthy diet. One can binge on once in a while, even once a week, but then the next 6 days should be saintly. Go for salads without dressings, chicken which is baked or grilled, fish and surplus vegetables.One of the best ways is to go for light salads, baked chicken and plenty of vegetables.
Water can be helpful in two ways. Firstly, keep sipping cold water in an interval of 10 minutes. Secondly, taking a cold shower or pouring cold water after your regular shower will also help in burning calories. Secondly go for a shower with cold water. Or finish your normal shower then as the last rinse pour cold water. Bear in mind that regular meals nearly 5-6 times in a day added with sufficient quantities of fruits, vegetables and water can facilitate weight loss without exercising.
